Summary of U.S. Training in Minneapolis, Minnesota

February 14, 2018

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Minneapolis, Minnesota for U.S. Customs and Border Protection that included Customs Officers and Support Personnel.

This training provided attendees the latest information on the product lines of 25 global brands. Rights-holders were on hand to explain the means of identifying counterfeit products through individualized instruction.

This event was held in the CBP Federal Inspection Area of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport. We would like to extend our appreciation to the members of CBP for the use of their facility and ongoing support.

This event is part of the IACC’s U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program that provides authorities throughout the country with valuable insights drawn from our member brands. This year, we anticipate training law enforcement professionals in 24 separate cities throughout the United States, enabling them to act strategically in the detection, seizure and forfeiture of counterfeit goods.

As a reminder, the upcoming U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training events will be held in Newark, NJ on March 13, JFK on March 14 and in Goshen (Orange County), NY on March 15, 2018. For more details on the trainings and logistics information, please click HERE.
