A Message from the IACC President – IACC Annual Conference Scheduled

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a healthy, safe, and enjoyable holiday season. I am pleased to announce that we have scheduled the IACC Annual Conference for April 27-29, 2022 in Washington, DC at the Mayflower Hotel. It will be more than two years since our last Annual Conference and I, for one, miss the excitement, connections, and spontaneity of the in-person conference. I hope you are as excited as we are. We will also be planning some events at our headquarters office in Washington and I hope you will join us there.
I want to thank our international group of conference co-chairs for contributing their expertise and time to the conference agenda. Zach Toczynski from Levi Strauss & Co., Louise Butler from Diageo, Carrie Hedayati from 100% Speedlab, Eric Hawk from JTI, Virginia Cervieri from Cervieri & Monsuarez and Diana Martinez from Arochi & Lindner are leading professionals in brand protection globally.
We look forward to reuniting thought leaders from law enforcement with IP experts from some of the largest most famous brands to new startups. They will be joined by the brightest legal minds in the IP space as well as learning about the latest IP brand protection technology. We will convene small group workshops as well as general plenary sessions.
As always, we place the safety of our attendees and staff at the highest priority. We recognize that the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic will continue to evolve in the coming months. Therefore, we will monitor the situation and work with the hotel to follow state and Center for Disease Control (CDC) safety protocols.
