IACC San Francisco Training Summary

November 7, 2019

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in San Francisco, California for Customs Border Protection personnel.

Training was held at the San Francisco Customs House and provided an opportunity for 70 CBP officers, assigned at the port, airport and express courier facilities to view up to date information on product lines and known counterfeits of the 48 brands in attendance. Rights-holders provided individualized instruction to strengthen efforts and increase ability to deter importation and sales of counterfeit products.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the members of CBP for their assistance in coordinating this event and their ongoing support.

This event is part of the IACC’s continuing program for law enforcement that provides authorities throughout the country with the tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.
