IACC-Temu Program Delivers Results
Learn how you can get involved

Since launching the IACC-Temu Program, we have seen considerable success resulting from the commitment of the Temu team and our participating brands. The program has helped drive the proactive removal of more than 13,300 infringing listings, with brands seeing a quick and notable turnaround after submitting images and keywords. These results highlight the value of close coordination, information-sharing, and collaboration in strengthening IP enforcement.

Strong leadership has helped make this progress possible. When IACC President Bob Barchiesi met with Temu Co-Founder Dada Sun, their discussion reinforced a shared commitment to brand protection at the highest levels of both organizations. This support helped pave the way for the IACC-Temu Program, creating new opportunities for direct engagement and more effective coordination between Temu and rights holders.

The program provides participating IACC member brands with dedicated ways to address complex IP matters, share intelligence, and engage directly with Temu’s IP team. Key features include:

    • Escalate Complex IP Matters: Use the IACC Global Portal to escalate pending notices, seek further review of responses, and request reconsideration of rejected notices.
    • Support Proactive Enforcement: Share keywords, images, and other information to help Temu identify potential infringements and proactively remove infringing listings.
    • Engage Directly with Temu’s IP Team: Access a dedicated channel for program escalations, with responses from Temu’s IP experts within 48 hours.
    • Exchange Insights and Track Progress: Take part in quarterly check-ins and receive periodic status reports and detailed feedback to help identify challenges and inform future enforcement efforts.

The program’s benefits extend beyond individual cases. Brands gain insight into marketplace processes and enforcement practices, while Temu can draw on rights holders’ expertise to strengthen its detection and response efforts. This two-way exchange helps both sides learn, adapt, and improve their approach to IP protection.

Bringing rights holders and marketplace partners together to develop practical solutions is central to the IACC’s mission. For more than a decade, our programs have turned collaboration into action, delivering tangible results in the fight against counterfeiting and infringement. The IACC-Temu Program builds on this approach, showing how direct engagement and shared expertise can make a meaningful difference.

We encourage IACC member brands to participate in the IACC-Temu Program. If your company is not yet an IACC member, contact us to learn more about membership and how you can get involved in the IACC.
