Summary of U.S. Training in Newark, NJ
March 13, 2018
The IACC recently conducted training under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Newark, New Jersey for U.S. Customs and Border Protection that included Customs Officers and Support Personnel.
This training provided 60 law enforcement attendees the latest information on the product lines of 50 global brands. Rights-holders were on hand to explain the means of identifying counterfeit products through individualized instruction.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the members of CBP for the use of their facility in Newark’s federal building.
This event is part of the IACC’s commitment to educating authorities throughout the country with valuable insights drawn from our member brands. This year, we anticipate training local, state and federal law enforcement professionals throughout the United States, enabling them to act strategically in the detection, seizure and forfeiture of counterfeit goods.
As a reminder, the upcoming U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training events will be held in Houston, TX on April 17, Dallas, TX on April 18 and Mesa, AZ on April 19, 2018. These trainings are provided for free as a benefit of membership to IACC brands. For more details on these trainings and logistics information, please click HERE.
